Gaps and the "fair" line

A gap is the distance between the softest line on the board and the rest of the market for the same prop. The softest side depends on direction — for an Over it is the lowest line posted; for an Under it is the highest. Every book that offers the prop enters the comparison; filters only change which cards you see, never the math.

The fair line shown on cards is the market consensus: the value most books agree on once the softest outlier is set aside. The gap figure is the difference between that consensus and the softest available line — expressed in the prop's own units (kills, headshots, rounds).

Hit rates and research

Research hit rates are graded against the exact line and direction shown on the card — not a generic average. Windows (L5 / L10 / L20, year, head-to-head) count only series where the prop's full map scope was played; partial series are excluded so the percentage is honest. Team advantage, map history, and opponent context come from the same settled tape.

Match status and scores

Slates statuses come from the feed's actual match state — upcoming, live, final. A match is never marked live just because the clock reached the listed start time, and a card is only marked final when upstream data or completed map scores say so. Final cards show real series scores.

Update frequency

Boards serve from a server-side shelf so pages load instantly; background workers restock it on a rolling cadence. Line boards and slates refresh roughly every minute or two while markets are active, and the timestamp on each board shows the age of the data you're looking at. If a refresh fails, the last good data stays up rather than going blank.
